We are a group of parents, teachers and friends dedicated to raising funds for our schools. 

We run events both in school and in the community

Emergency Management Team

We are a team of volunteers who manage and coordinate emergency plans throughout the village 

Community Speedwatch 

A voluntary scheme, run in conjunction with Thames Valley Police, aimed at reducing the number of speeding vehicles through the village, particularly on the Wantage Road.

The Allotment Society 

Formed in 2011 by a small group of enthusiasts and runs from a site just outside the village at Northfield Farm with a linking footpath.

Bell Ringers

We are a small team, keeping the church bells ringing out across the valley. We ring for
church services and weddings and practice each Wednesday evening

Parish Defibrillators

With the community’s support, donations and fundraising activities. we are fortunate to have three Defibrillators within the parish

Great Shefford Parish News

The Parish News is the official ‘organ’ of the Parish Council, produced monthly and circulated digitally with hard copies distributed to all at Christmas and available in local shops quarterly free of charge.

Shefford Craft Club

We are a friendly, informal group who meet every Friday 9.30 am to 12 noon at Great Shefford Village Hall to share our interest in craft

West Berkshire Neighbourhood Watch is a voluntary organisation helping the Police to reduce local crime
