Shefford Traffic Action Group

The Shefford Traffic Action Group (STAG) was set up in 2003 as a pressure group to campaign for traffic calming and other measures concerning the flow of traffic through the village of Great Shefford in order to improve road safety and make the village a better place in which to live.

STAG has gradually gained recognition by several official bodies, and has achieved a number of improvements to the traffic situation in the parish, but there is still a long way to go.
